The 'User Pays' System

ADCU »FEES & CHARGES » The 'User Pays' System

Australian Defence Credit Union’s fees and charges are based on an equitable ‘users pays’ system. This system ensures that members who make a reasonable level of transactions are not subsidising others who make an increased number of transactions and incur additional costs for the Credit Union. Members can control the amount of fees they incur, and in most cases avoid many transaction fees.

When members make transactions using remote access methods such as ATM, EFTPOS, BPay, direct debits and internet banking, ADCU incurs charges from other financial institutions and service suppliers. It is essential that ADCU recoups these charges in order to maintain competitive deposit and loan interest rates, as well as providing a high standard of member service.

Our Relationship Reward, is designed to reward members who use the Credit Union as their main financial institution.
