Direct Debits

A direct debit is a transfer of money from your Australian Defence account to an account belonging to another organisation.

You can use this service for regular payments such as rent, health insurance, rates, subscriptions or other regular payments.

To arrange a direct debit, you need to complete an authority form with the organisation concerned and provide the following details:

BSB No. 802 397  and Account (Member) No.

If an organisation does not accept direct debits, you can arrange to set up a periodical payment – all you need to do is complete a periodical payment authority available from your local ADCU branch office, ring 1300 13 23 28, or  download an authority form.

Direct Credits

You can arrange to have all or part of your pay direct credited to Australian Defence.  All you need to do is contact your pay office and give them our BSB number – 802 397 and your account name and account number, or complete a Defence Employee Pay Allotment Authorisation Form or a Defence Employee Bank and Financial Institution Account Authorisation Form .  You can have your pay split up between any number of accounts, or to your spouse/partner or children’s accounts. See your local branch or call our Member Contact Centre on 1300 13 23 28.

Other direct credits, such as superannuation, dividends, family payments and pensions can also be direct credited to your account/s.

Terms and conditions relating to direct debits and credits and periodical payments are included in the Terms and Conditions Brochure.
