North Queensland

The North Queensland region has 3 ADCU branches located in far north Queensland. Lavarack Barracks and RAAF Base Townsville are both located in Townsville whilst HMAS Cairns is located further north.

Jenny Neal started as a Regional Manager with ADCU in 2008, managing Lavarack, Townsville and Cairns branches. Jenny and her team provide financial products and services to Defence Force personnel and their families at Lavarack, Townsville and HMAS Cairns.

Community Support

ADCU supports a range of community groups, defence organisations and charities within the North QLD area. Our goal is to ensure that the serving members of the Defence Force and their families are supported by donating to charities and family organisations, or by assisting sporting clubs to grow and thrive.

Some of the organisations supported within the North QLD Region include:

• Defence Community Organisation (DCO)
• GECKOS Family Welfare Centre
• Navy Week
• Annual Family Events for the units on base
